Larisa Lauber
Larisa was born in 1976 and has been drawing and painting ever since she can remember.
She studied industrial design at the University of Arts in Berlin and graduated in 2000.
After an internship at Munich Animation, she started her career in the Animation
Business, working as a designer, layouter and animator for feature films in Germany and
abroad like Laura´s star, The little Polar Bear, Asterix and the Vikings, Mia et le Migou and
Raven the little Rascal.
In 2009/10 she produced, designed and animated her own 6 minute short film The nightingale
and the rose - based on the fairytale by Oscar Wilde.
Larisa is still working as an animator, but she never neglected her love for painting and drawing
and in the last years her focus has moved more and more towards illustration.
She lives in Berlin with her husband and their two children.
