Julia Bierkandt

Born in the south of Germany, Julia grew up in Luxembourg. She studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Design School in Sigmaringen and worked many years as a designer for children's apparel. This led to her passion for creating illustrations that appeal to the best target group in the world – kids.

Julia is all into following children and animals on their fantastical fictional adventures. Her world is as colorful as her illustrations. Julia lives with her husband and children in Reutlingen, Germany. Here she creates her joyful, and lively illustrations, with a bit of humor that will make you smile.
